Softview - Diploma Courses

Softview was started in 1990 to develop language computing products and after running it successfully for years started the Graphics and Animation training division in 1994 and was the first Institution in Tamilnadu to run such a Course. This Institute not only provides training to the students in the field of DTP, Graphics and Animation but also provides consultancy services free of cost to the students who want to start their own DTP centres or Digital Studios to realize the media dreams of many aspiring students.

The quality of its training services has yielded softview with ISO:9001 certification. To add further glory Softview has also earned the Training partner status for Adobe Products developed by Adobe Incorporation, US. Adding one more feather to the cap, Softview also has attained the Training Partner status for Corel Products developed by Corel Corporation, Canada.

The students enrollment include students from Singapore, Malaysia, Srilanka, Canada, UAE, Germany, France etc.

The Training Timings starts at 7:00 AM IST with a batch of 2hrs working from Monday to Friday. The students can book in advance for extra machine hours and can work on Saturdays too. The mode of training is purely practical oriented and each student is provided with a Desktop and sharing of system between the students is avoided and hence each student gets hands on training on the systems individually.

The institute has got a well equipped studio to meet out the industrial standards with a separate setup for Chroma keying (Blue Screen and Green Screen) Back ground environment. The Hardware infrastructure related to prepress such as Scanner and Digital camera are also available and the students are being taught to operate them practically.

Softview students have been placed in Satellite Channels, Production Studios, Major Publishers, Cinema studios, Newspapers and MNCs.
