Credentials of Softview:

Softview a 20 year organization, is the first Institution in Tamilnadu to introduce graphics and animation related courses. This paved the path for the students to get a major focus in the media related industry. Softview has a major part in spreading the Desktop Publishing in Tamilnadu. These Job oriented courses have boosted many students get placement in a renowned organization or to start up their own business. Softview is the first Institution in the industry to conduct media related courses in Tamil language with International Course curriculum and course materials, which has made the media industry to reach the nuke end corners of Tamilnadu. Softview is producing 10,000 students every year in the Designing Industry.

Softview has also stepped in to Language computing and has most of the Newspaper and Satellite Channels as it Customers for the Language computing Products.

Softview has launched in a big way the training of Mocha Pro, a software used in the film industry for video tracking, rotoscoping and stereoscopy conversion. It is a UK based product with which Softview has got an Educational tie-up India vide.

Tie - ups & Networks

Softview has entered into joint venture with Tamil University, Thanjavur and we are offering Diploma and PG Diploma oriented Animation, Journalism, Viscom courses and Certificate courses for DTP and Tamil Computing Technology in Tamil medium through Distance Education.

Softview has joined hands with Loyola College (Autonomous), Chennai and has set up a Sophisticated Multimedia lab in integration with Dept. of Media studies in Loyola college campus and has formed the Dept. of Animation which is totally run by Softview to train the students in Animation and Graphics designing, E-learning, 2D Animation, 2D Game Development, 3D Modeling and Animation courses which is open to all cadre students.

Softview has joined hands with ST.XAVIERS College (Autonomous), PALAYAMKOTTAI and in coordination with the Viscom Dept. has formed the Academy of Animation & Media studies to train the students in Animation and Graphics designing, 3D Animation, Publishing, 2D Animation, Video Editing (AVID/FCP) courses which is open to students of the college and general public also.

Softview in a Joint venture with CSC Computer Education has set up around 66 franchisee centers in Tamilnadu providing Graphics and animation related courses. The main aim is to create awareness about multimedia and make the courses reach the general public allover Tamilnadu.

Softview has also tie-ups with CSEC and has Graphics and Animation centers in Pondicherry.

Softview has got International business tie-up with Asian Business College, Srilanka and has 15 Graphics and Animation Training centers spread around Srilanka.

Softview is providing technical Content Development to Microsoft Incorporation USA providing technical training for 14 Indian languages for Microsoft India.

Softview has conducted corporate training to many major MNCs like LG Electronics Bangalore, Airbee Electronics, Chennai etc.

Books & CD-ROMs

Softview has published several Information technology and Media related books in Tamil Language. This publication is more useful for the rural community. Softview has bagged "Best book of the year" awards also.

Softview has designed several Educational tutor CD-ROMs, Puzzles, stories, Rhymes and Encyclopedia.

These books and the CD-ROMs are creating a Goodwill and respect for Softview among the Scholars and the Rural segment Community.

Placement Division

Softview, not only provide training to the students but also provides them placement. To avail the placement the Students of the Softview group has to register their bio-data in softview's job portal which is free of cost.

Softview trains around 200 students every year and places 60% of students in media oriented industry such as Ad agencies, Graphic Studios, Designing centres, Web development industry, E-Publishing & E-Learning industry etc.

Softview has tie-up with major printing and publishing associations to place their students in the Publishing and Newspaper Industry.

Softview also has tie-ups with leading satellite Television channels for providing Internship and placement for the students in the field of Editing, Graphics and Animation.

Education Trust

Softview is running an Educational trust in the name of "Annammal Education Trust ". It is a registered trust to help the Education of poor children by providing books, Education Fees, Compact Disc tutors and support them for their career and IT Skills. This trust has plans to promote IT Education to allover Tamil speaking Community.

Training Alliances

Softview has its customer base with certain major government Institutions by providing training on regular basis which are NITTTR (National Institution for Technical Teachers Training Research – Central Govt.), Reserve Bank of India, BC/MBC dept, Anna University - Chennai, Press Information Bureau.

Softview has given training to the staff of several Publishing houses such as Nakkeeran, Dinathanthi, Dinamalar etc. (Training and tie-up related documents enclosed)

Technology

Softview is keenly updating to International standards in Technology related issues. Softview Counseling's strategy opens up with the course details being explained to the students with an Interactive Animation presentation.

Softview Students are provided with the latest system configuration to work on High end Graphics and Animation software. We also support our students with well equipped lab and infrastructure along with Scanners and Digital camera. The students are given practical sessions on the software with original Licenses. Apart from our regular course materials we also provide online tutors and CBTs for our students.

Softview provides the students with many easy ways for the payment of fees with all International Banking gateway, it supports all international banks' branches across the globe. Online payment is also available with payment through Master, Visa and American Express cards. The payment of the fees can also be done using Paypal services also.

Softview has Computersied all the administrative activities and hence we have adapted to the Paperless office methodology.
